Any system can send data to an KPI as long as it follows some rules:

A KPI is made and the unique URL For the KPI is made available to the system that will send data. The URL can be found with the copy symbol.
An API key is generated with "readonly" unchecked, meaning the API key allows data to be written to the API.
The API key is sent as an HTTP header with name "x-api-key" and value the actual API key made in previous step
The organizationId of the organization is sent as an HTTP header with name "organizationId"
The body contains a JSON structure like described below with a value and a date to be added as an update to the KPI

We recommend updating the KPI not more than once per day, and there will be rate limiting to the REST API that will enforce it.
